Scott Marshall
Principle of Diverse, Musical Theatre and Dance Teacher

Scott began his training at The Dance School of Scotland, Knightswood and went on to gain a musical theatre diploma at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts College, London.

As an extremely ‘Diverse’ performer, Choreographer and Dance Teacher. Scott was continuously asked to teach for some of London’s most Elite Performing arts Schools. He regularly taught dance classes and master classes at Laine Theatre Arts, London Studio Centre, Urdang Academy and Bodywork which are all highly accredited colleges who produce the UK’s best international Dance and Musical Theatre performers. Scott has regularly taught workshops and held auditions for professional dancers at the prestigious Pineapple Dance Studios, Dance Attic and Dance Works, putting London’s best through their paces!!!

Scott has also worked with music industry's elite, in events such as the world famous American Music Awards, Brit Awards, Royal Variety Performance alongside superstars such as Cher, Kylie and Dannii Minogue, Pink, UK pop sirens Girls Aloud, Sugababes and Jamelia, transient legends such as Dame Shirley Bassey, Michael Buble and Sir Cliff Richards through to classical artists such as Vanessa Mae.

Scott’s TV and film experience includes projects such as Beyond the Sea, directed by and starring Kevin Spacey, Johnny English as well as appearing in commercials for multinational brands such as Mazda, Nestlé and the American giant Target.

Scott has choreographed U.A.E's production's Disney's of ‘HSM2’ at DUCTAC Theatre and ‘Fame’ at the First Group Theatre, Souk Madinat Jumeirah for Popular Productions, involving over 100 kids! As well as, Theatre and Pop Shows for P&O Cruise lines.

Scott has choreographed a number of fashion shows, corporate events and launches, working with many fashion designers and brands such as Ed Hardy, Tommy Hilfiger, Top Shop ,Air France, Deman, Etisalat & Du. Since moving to the U.A.E Scott has choreographed the infamous annual Oil Baron’s Ball for two consecutive years, Pop video for Clarita De Quiroz – Late Night Rendezvous, Car launches for Toyota and Hyundai, Dubai Motorshow, Launch and re-brand for Emirates NBD and provided dancers for the Shakira Concert at the Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi to name a few.

Lisa Marshall
Principle of Diverse, Musical Theatre and Dance Teacher

Lisa has worked in the entertainments industry for over 10 years. Gaining her professional training at Elmhurst Ballet School in Surrey,UK, and graduating from the Laine Theatre Arts with an honours diploma in musical theatre.

Lisa, one of London’s most versatile Musical Theatre Performers and TV Actress'. Having extensive experience, training and knowledge in all aspects of performing Arts (Dance, Singing and Acting). Lisa had regularly been invited to teach at some of London’s biggest theatre schools and colleges throughout the UK. Never forgetting her roots, she has since taught at Laine theatre Arts and her 1st ever Dance School Edith Duncan School of Dance. Holding Musical Theatre Workshops, Jazz, Tap and contemporary classes at both the Mandy Ellen School of Dance and D and B performing Arts where, most of the kids performed every evening in West-End Musicals such as Oliver, Mary Poppins and Les Miserables. Lisa also with Scott regularly taught workshops and held auditions for professional dancers at the prestigious Pineapple Dance Studio, Dance Attic and Dance Works!

Lisa’s performing career began starring as an actress, singer and dancer in West End favourites such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Jus’ like that – a musical comedy about the life of Tommy Cooper and several Pantomimes across the UK.

On the big screen, Lisa has worked with many household names in movies that have been enjoyed by millions across the world. Industry legends such as Tim Burton, Stephen Hopkins, Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Charlize Theron jam pack Lisa’s CV, working on sets of movies such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers and If Only. And on the small screen, Lisa’s experience both as an actress and dancer has seen her grace the screens of millions of UK viewers on major network TV favourites including Bad Girls, Footballers Wives and Top of the Pops as well as presenting roles on cable and the DVD, Dance Party produced for Universal Records.

Since moving to Dubai in 2008 to establish Diverse Choreography Lisa has Choreographed the Middle East’s first annual Alternative Energy Awards, at The Hilton Hotel, Abu Dhabi, Daman Health insurance, Gala Dinner, Cabaret Tap, The Diamond and Gold Commodities Conference - Jewelry show, Atlantis Hotel, an event hosted by Mubadala at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi for Ferrari and F1, Shakira at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi, Lamborghini Launch and fashion show, Lamborghini show room, Muscat, co-choreographed Tap Dogs vs Breakers at the Dubai Mall, Stomp at the Khalidha mall, the ESPN Gala dinner at Park Hyatt hotel and lastly, invited some of the UKs finest dancers, singers and musicians to the legendary Oil Baron’s Ball in 2008 &2009.

Rachel Johnson
Singing for all levels/ Senior Drama Teacher- Musical Theatre and Mini Musical Theatre

Rachel trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Performance.

After Graduating from Mountview she went on to play one of the Angels in Anything Goes (Landor Theatre) Peggy Patch in the Actor/Musician show Playdays - The Musical (UK National Tour). An ensemble member in Merrily We Roll Along (Cochrane Theatre) Rachel went on to join the original cast of Jerry Springer – the Opera, which opened to critical acclaim at the National Theatre, London, where she understudied and played the part of Andrea/Arch Angel Gabriel. She was also part of the ensemble that went on to win an Olivier Award for Best Supporting Role in a Musical and can be heard on the Original Cast Recording. From the National Theatre, the show moved to the Cambridge Theatre in the West End where it was recorded for the BBC.

Rachel is a not only a highly experienced Singer and Actress she has extensive teaching experience. Providing Singing and Musical Theatre training at the UK’s renowned Mountview Performing Arts, Italia Conti and Stage Coach Schools in the UK.

Rachel has worked in Schools across Essex performing the one woman show Betty Banana. She later joined the cast of Disney’s Beauty and Beast (UK National Tour) where she understudied and played the role of Mrs. Potts.

Rachel has worked extensively as a concert soloist performing across the world in countries such as South Africa, Australia and America to name but a few. Last year she won the Graham Smith Cup for Classical Soloist of the Year in the Essex Musician of the Year Competition. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Proms concerts and was part of the inaugural performance of Karl Jenkin’s A Mass for Peace.

Victoria Shirran
Dance Teacher and GEMS ASA Administrator

Victoria Shirran obtained a Diploma in Performing Arts, from the Italia Conti Academy Arts, along with a Diploma from the Trinity International Examination Board for a National Diploma in Professional Dance (Musical Theatre) level 4 (2002).

Since graduating in 2002 Victoria has worked as a professional Dancer in the UK and abroad. Performing in Vegas style production shows aboard Carnival Cruise Lines, It's Kylie UK Tour and various Pantomimes across the UK. Victoria has performed in numerous corporate events here in the U.A.E including – Pop video for Clarita De Quiroz - Late night rendezvous, ESPN gala dinner, Park Hyatt Hotel, Fifa Opening World Cup Ceremony in Abu Dhabi, Oil Baron’s ball 2009 & Tap Dogs vs Breakers to name a few!

In addition to performing Victoria has taught ballet, tap, jazz and drama for over 10 years at various dance schools and primary schools in the UK and Dubai.
